Artist Bio:

Jenny is a skilled visual artist who creates incredibly realistic drawings using colored pencils and watercolor paints. Art has been an essential outlet for her, enabling her to powerfully express her emotions and overcome numerous challenges throughout her life. She diligently pursued her artistic passion by taking art courses at Dutchess Community College. Still, Jenny is primarily self-taught, with many hours spent improving her skills. She enthusiastically pursues learning many different mediums while staying true to her passion: color theory and realism. Jenny also bravely served in the Air National Guard for six years post-9/11, which brought further discipline and focus to her artistic pursuit.

Following the expansion of her family, Jenny discovered the most recent inspiration for her "Through the Eyes of a Child" series. In her drawings, Jenny passionately captures the innocence and curiosity of children. Each piece reflects the treasured childhood moments through the awe and experiences of learning about the world around her subjects. This series features highly detailed colored pencil portraits and several watercolor paintings to help bring her vision to life.

Jenny and her lively family reside in the charming Town of Poughkeepsie, where they find immense joy and creative inspiration in their bustling home, which is filled with her six children and beloved pets. She and her husband work with the youth at their local church and enjoy seeing God use them to encourage and build up the next generation.
