“Through the Eyes of a Child”

"Through the Eyes of a Child" is not just a series of artworks but a decade- long journey to recreate the intimate and emotional world of childhood using colored pencils. The inspiration for this series came from Jenny's intense love for human existence and the full spectrum of emotions she and her own children felt. She became enamored with the joys and sorrows her children experienced as they took in the world around them. This personal connection drew Jenny to the artistic stage to express her newfound curiosity. As she journeyed down this creative road, the love of color and texture came to life within her artwork. This is Jenny's first venture into creating an art series with the hopes of achieving a gallery representation in the Hudson Valley. Her lifelong dream of sharing her art with her community could be fulfilled within the next year or two. [2024-2025]
